I'm a software engineer/tech lead/manager... though I'm currently self-unemployed so that's more of a theoretical thing at this point, I think. I spent over 20 years working in big tech, with over 19 of them at Google. Prior to that I built and ran a few successful solo web startups.

More importantly, I do more than touch computers!

I am a do it for the plot kind of girl, who likes to live through and tell weird, unlikely stories. Hopefully I've written some good ones up on my blog by now, or if you have a short attention span I also post a lot of irreverent one-liners on Mastodon.

In my free time (lol) I'm a single parent of a pre-teen 🫥. I live in the Seattle, WA area (UTC-8/-7; America/Los_Angeles) but I am not one of those outdoorsy type people.
